Operator and scope
These terms are between you and the operator of the business trading as Ambera Health. Questions and requests: support@amberahealth.com. Effective September 16, 2026.
These terms apply to Ambera’s website and applications. Apple’s applicable platform and license terms also apply to software obtained from Apple. Privacy information is provided in our Privacy Policy; this agreement does not substitute for a separate consent required by law.
Eligibility and accounts
The initial release is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under 18 or otherwise cannot enter a binding agreement independently, obtain parent or guardian involvement where applicable law requires it. This does not automatically authorize disclosure of confidential health information to that person.
Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and use only accounts and information you are authorized to access. Professional users are responsible for accurately describing their qualifications and practicing within their authority. An Ambera profile or role is not verification of a professional license.
Pregnant teens aged 13 and older are included in the intended audience. App eligibility does not determine who can consent to pregnancy-related medical care. Where a minor may lawfully consent to care independently, nothing in these terms is intended to remove that right or automatically grant a parent access to confidential records. Professionals must apply the consent and confidentiality rules that govern their care.
Information and coordination, not emergency care
Ambera provides tools for organizing information, education, and communication. It does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Timers, trackers, library resources, and notifications do not establish that a pregnancy or symptom is safe. Seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional and contact local emergency services for an emergency.
Messages and updates may be delayed, unavailable, or unread. Do not use Ambera as your sole emergency contact, medical record, or method of communicating urgent concerns. Professionals remain responsible for their care decisions and independent legal obligations.
Your information and permitted use
You retain your rights in information you submit. You authorize Ambera to host, process, display, and transmit it as needed to provide the features and sharing you request, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law. You must have authority to submit information about others.
Do not misuse accounts, harass others, upload unlawful material, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious software, or interfere with service operation. Ambera’s software, branding, and other protected materials remain the property of their respective owners. These terms permit ordinary use of the service, not resale or unauthorized redistribution.
Subscriptions and capacity
Client/family access and backup care roles do not require a paid professional primary-client plan. Available professional plans and their prices, billing periods, capacity, currency, and applicable taxes are presented before purchase. Enterprise arrangements require a separate agreement. Proposed or unavailable offers are not promises of availability.
Subscriptions renew according to the offer accepted at checkout unless canceled through the billing provider. Apple manages Apple purchases; Stripe processes web purchases. Review the confirmation and manage the subscription through its original purchase channel. A separate purchase can create separate billing; restoring an Apple purchase does not cancel a web subscription.
Changes that reduce capacity can be blocked when active primary-client usage exceeds the resulting allowance. Additional authorized grants may affect effective capacity. An active care relationship normally continues until 90 days after a recorded birth date, unless ended earlier or intentionally extended under the service’s permissions. Ending the active relationship releases capacity but does not delete account or relationship history.
Review any price, timing, or proration shown before confirming a change. Canceling generally stops future renewal and does not itself delete an account. Request web billing/refund assistance at support@amberahealth.com; Apple purchase refund requests follow Apple’s process. Applicable consumer rights are not excluded by these terms.
TestFlight and prerelease features
TestFlight access is invitation-only. Apple’s TestFlight terms govern beta distribution. In-app purchases made within TestFlight are free sandbox transactions and do not establish a paid production subscription. A separately purchased web subscription can involve real charges under its checkout terms.
Beta features may change, contain errors, or stop working. Use sample data for testing and keep important records separately. Feedback should exclude unnecessary health information, credentials, and payment details. Leaving TestFlight or uninstalling the beta does not itself delete your Ambera account or cancel a separately purchased subscription.
Ending access and account deletion
You can stop using Ambera and request account deletion through account settings or support@amberahealth.com. Account deletion, unlinking a professional, and subscription cancellation are separate actions. The current deletion workflow includes a 30-day restoration window; scheduling does not immediately erase all records or recipient copies.
We may restrict access when necessary to address misuse, security, legal requirements, or a material breach of these terms. Any restriction remains subject to applicable law. Professionals and users should maintain appropriate alternative arrangements for continuity of care.
Availability and your legal rights
We work to maintain Ambera, but do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free information, or a particular medical outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not impose arbitration, a class-action waiver, or an invented limitation on statutory privacy rights.
Updates and contact
We may update these terms and will identify the effective date. We will provide additional notice or obtain agreement when required by applicable law. Contact support@amberahealth.com for support, accessibility assistance, privacy, or legal questions.
