Bring the journey together.

For hospitals, health systems, insurance companies, and health plans exploring a more connected pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.

Start with the people you serve.

The family is the starting point.

A person’s journey is bigger than a single appointment.

Ambera brings personal preparation, learning, reflection, and authorized care-team conversations into one account. Organizational conversations start with that experience: who you want to support, how they would participate, and the responsibilities around their care.

Learning Center

Learning for
each person.

Courses and lessons within each family or professional account.

Learning Center

Learning alongside care.

The Learning Center provides published courses for the person’s account role.

  • Learners work through courses and lessons in their own account.
  • Progress belongs to the learner.
  • Course completion does not confer clinical credentials.

Birth preferences

Preferences,
ready to discuss.

Families organize the preferences they want to discuss with their care team.

Birth preferences

A place to prepare for discussion.

Birth preferences help people record what matters to them before a care conversation.

  • Families create and revisit their preferences.
  • Connected professionals see information according to the care relationship.
  • This does not replace clinical decisions, consent, or documentation.

Your care team

People,
connected.

Families can connect doulas, midwives, and providers around their care.

Your care team

Care relationships with defined access.

Individual accounts and care relationships determine who can see shared information.

  • Each person uses their own sign-in.
  • Primary professionals and assigned backups have different relationship permissions.
  • An organization’s interest does not create access to anyone’s records.

Messages

Conversations
with context.

Messages connect families with the care professionals linked to their accounts.

Messages

Communication around the person.

Messaging is part of the individual care relationship, not an organization-wide access channel.

  • Conversations follow the relationship’s permissions.
  • Device settings and connection quality affect notifications.
  • Existing urgent-care and emergency channels remain necessary.

From a first look to a clear scope.

  1. Explore the experience.

Start with the personal journey and the professional workflows relevant to your organization.

  2. Define participation and access.

Identify your population, participating care roles, account responsibilities, and the information each relationship should permit.

  3. Agree what a rollout needs.

Discuss capacity, purchasing, support, privacy review, training, and any technical requirements before a deployment decision.

For a practice or professional group.

If your doula practice, midwifery practice, birth center, or provider group needs to coordinate several professionals, discuss the accounts, capacity, and responsibilities involved. A single professional plan does not include organization-wide administration.

Discuss your practice

Here for your own care work?

If you are a doula, midwife, or provider choosing a workspace for your own linked clients, start with Care team. It includes the supported backup-doula and backup-midwife experience. If you are evaluating Ambera on behalf of an institution or program, you are in the right place here.

A useful conversation. Clear expectations.

Is an organization account included in a professional plan?

Professional plans provide role-specific workspaces and active linked-client capacity. They do not establish organization-wide administration, cross-facility record access, or an institutional agreement. Organizational needs are discussed separately.

Can Ambera connect to our existing systems?

Bring your integration, single sign-on, reporting, and administration requirements to the conversation. These capabilities are not included by default; availability and scope must be agreed specifically.

Where can our team review privacy and security?

Visit the Privacy Center and Security page for current public information. Your organization’s privacy, procurement, and contracting review remains part of evaluating a rollout.

Let’s start with your organization.
